Accessibility Statement
Boom Media and Boom Online Ordering are committed to ensuring digital accessibility for everyone, including people with disabilities. We believe every customer should be able to browse a menu and place an order with ease — regardless of how they access the web.
Our standard
We design and build our ordering pages and client websites to conform with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA — the standard referenced by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) for websites.
What we build in
- Screen-reader support — semantic HTML, descriptive labels, and ARIA where needed so assistive technology can read every page.
- Keyboard navigation — all interactive elements (menus, cart, checkout) are usable without a mouse, with visible focus indicators.
- Readable contrast — text and controls meet AA color-contrast ratios.
- Descriptive alternatives — images and icons carry text alternatives.
- Resizable, responsive text — pages remain usable when zoomed or on any device.
- Clear forms — labeled fields and helpful error messages at checkout.
Ongoing effort
Accessibility is a continuous process. We test with automated tools and manual review, and we update our platform as standards evolve. No website is ever perfectly accessible, but we treat any barrier as a bug to fix.
